2008 is known as the Year of the Rat.

This year is the year of Wu Zhi. In the 'Stem-Branch' system, the years are named in 60-year cycles, and the Name of the Year is repeated every 60 years.

Happy New Year, again. For myself January has slipped by too fast and I like the idea of starting the year new again. Ernest Holmes the founder of Science of Mind, says that each day is an opportunity to start again, in every new thought we have. So today I start my life anew. I know this year is to be a very significant year. I was born in the year of the Rat. This will be my 5^th anniversary of the Rat. I am also now over half past the 9^th anniversary of a 7 year cycle. Isn’t math fun?

The Spiritual Enrichment Center is set to blossom this month as we look to transforming our hall into a Jazz venue featuring Lisa Ferraro. I do hope you will join us on February 16^th for a wonderful evening of music, refreshments and the social life. This month also starts the new classes and we have three wonderful opportunities for you to match your interests. “Beyond Limits” is an introductory course to Science of Mind and New Thought and I will be facilitating this on Tuesday nights. Rev. Beverly will be facilitating “Self-Mastery” (pre-requisites required) on Thursday nights and Patricia McAloney RScP, will be facilitating “The Essential Ernest Holmes” (pre-requisites required) on Thursday nights. Something for every level of the mind. Remember also that it is not expected that you be on the educational track for Licensed Practitioner to sign up for knowledge.
