The father of one daughter and grandfather
of two, Ian and Natalie. Prior to accepting the position of Community Spiritual Leader for the Palm Springs Spiritual Enrichment
Center, Michael served 16 years as the Executive Director for Children's Treatment Center.
Michael has a Bachelor's
Degree in Recreation & Leisure Studies with a double minor in Sociology and Psychology from San Jose State University, San Jose,
CA. He received a Masters in Business at the National University in San Diego, CA. He received his Religious Science Practitioner
License in 1992 and completed in 2001 a 3 year program with a Masters of Divinity at the Holmes Institute in Point Loma.
His work experience has included Municipal Parks and Recreation Programs, After School Programs and management
of the Escondido Skate Park in the late 70's when skateboarding was a widespread activity.
Since 1980, Michael
has worked in the Mental Health Field providing services to youth and children that have been placed in out-of-home care.
